CMH Soccer

Developmental Program

OVERVIEW

Our Developmental Program offers a friendly environment for both beginners and experienced players. This is for players looking for a less competitive environment and a more flexible commitment. The goal with this program is to increase participation with soccer in South Georgia and create a fun, friendly, supportive and encouraging environment that has kids and parents developing a lifelong love for the sport.

The Developmental Program is open to players 4-5 (5U) with no prior experience or skills required to participate in this program.

To make this program successful, volunteer coaches and team parents may be required.

  • Teams will practice one day a week and will have games twice a month on Saturdays. All games will be scheduled by CMH Staff.

  • Program will be 8-12 weeks depending on the number of players participating and age groups of players.

PLAYER / PARENT EXPECTATIONS

  • Training is not mandatory but regular attendance at practice and participation in games is expected. Players will not grow and develop without commitment.

  • Equal playing time is not guaranteed. Attempts will be made to allow all players field time but routine absence from training will result in less time on the field.

  • Players and parents are required to maintain positive attitudes about CMH teammates, opposing players, and coaches. CMH has a strict policy against negativity and we believe in maintaining positive attitudes both on and off the field. Any comments directed to a referee by a parent or player can result in a player being dismissed from a CMH program.
